Terror victims to file petition against hostage release deal, call to release all details of agreement
The Almagor group, representing victims of terror, announced it would file a High Court petition against the hostage deal that was approved by the Israeli government on Tuesday evening.
In a letter to Israeli Justice Minister Yariv Levin, the group wrote it believes “the same landmines and surprises in the agreement were [present] in almost every other [hostage] deal in the past.”
Almagor listed several demands, including a list of prisoners to be released in exchange for the Israeli hostages, which the Justice Ministry has since published.
In addition, Almagor demanded details about Israeli commitments regarding restrictions on combat during the fire pause, including the reprieve of drone flights to gather intelligence, and the delivery of aid like fuel, “which may help Hamas conduct terror operations against residents of Israel.”
