Israeli woman injured in terror drive-by shooting in Samaria, IDF on manhunt for attackers
A 27-year-old Israeli woman was shot and moderately injured in a drive-by shooting attack near Ateret in Samaria, Israeli media reported.
The woman was evacuated to a hospital, her baby and another man who were in the car with her during the attack remained uninjured.
The Israeli army launched a manhunt in the West Bank to search for the terrorists and has placed roadblocks in the area.
"Near the entrance to Ateret we met up with the vehicle in which there were a man, a woman and a baby, about a month and a half old," said Ari Rozenshtein, an MDA paramedic.
"They told us that near the Rawabi intersection, they were shot at and the woman was injured by the shots. We treated the woman and evacuated her to the hospital in an MDA intensive care vehicle in stable condition. The man and the baby who were with her in the car were not injured and did not require medical treatment."
