Another unidentified aerial threat was intercepted over the Red Sea near the southern Israeli city of Eilat on Wednesday morning, the IDF stated.
The Israeli defense systems detected an aerial threat south of Eilat and intercepted over the Red Sea.
Explosions could be heard in the city but no sirens were activated as there was no intrusion into Israeli territory detected. No danger to Israeli civilians was perceived, according to the Israel Defense Forces statement.
Following repeated attacks on Eilat, the Israeli Navy transferred at least one of its missile ships to the Red Sea to improve defenses there.
Two other aerial attacks were intercepted south of Eilat on Tuesday, with the Houthi rebels from Yemen claiming responsibility.
