Shalom, I'm Oriel and thank you for watching this ALL ISRAEL Prayer Points video. As we gather today, let's reflect on Jesus' challenging words in Matthew 5:44: "But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."

Today we want to focus our hearts on the civilians in Gaza. While acknowledging the difficult truth that some celebrated the October 7 attacks, we are called as believers to pray for all, remembering that many innocent lives - especially children - are caught in this conflict. As military operations have intensified, particularly in areas like Jabaliya where over 55,000 civilians have been evacuated, many Gazans have become refugees in their land.

We pray:

  • For the protection of innocent children and vulnerable people (elderly, disabled) who bear no responsibility for this conflict

  • For civilians to find safe passage and adequate shelter as they flee combat zones

  • For sufficient humanitarian aid (food, water, medicine) to reach those in desperate need

  • For parents seeking to protect and comfort their children amid the chaos

  • For hearts to turn from hatred to peace, especially among those who previously supported Hamas

  • For the next generation of Gazans to choose a different path than violence and

  • For the salvation of the people of Gaza

As we lift these prayers, we remember the words of Jeremiah 29:7: "And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace."

Today's additional scripture for meditation: "Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles." (Proverbs 24:17)
