Transcript [00:00] Earlier this week in Israel, the nation [00:02] marked Tubishvat, the new year for [00:04] [music] trees. Shalom. This is Kayla [00:06] Brag for All Israel News. Once a year, [00:09] Israelis across the [music] country [00:10] plant trees, celebrate the land, and [00:13] reflect on growth that happens [music] [00:15] slowly, often beneath the surface. This [00:18] year, Tubishvat comes at a time when [00:20] many feel Israel is in a season of [00:21] waiting, [music] rebuilding, and [00:23] uncertainty. So, let's come together for [00:25] this week's prayer points grounded in [00:27] scripture and the promise of renewal. [00:30] First, let's pray for renewal in the [00:32] land and environment. Isaiah 35 says, [00:34] [music] "The desert shall rejoice and [00:37] blossom like the rose." Since 1901, more [00:40] than 250 million [music] trees have been [00:42] planted across Israel, transforming the [00:44] arid land into forests and [music] green [00:46] spaces. Even now, after years of fires, [00:48] war, and damage, especially in the [00:50] north, Israel is replanting [music] and [00:53] restoring what was lost. Let's pray for [00:55] healing for the land, wisdom for those [00:57] leading restoration [music] efforts, and [00:59] patience as growth takes time. May God [01:02] bring life where [music] the land has [01:04] been scarred, and renewal where [01:06] destruction once stood. Second, let's [01:08] pray for patience and faith [music] in [01:10] this wilderness season. Isaiah 61 [01:13] reminds us, "And the soil and the sprout [01:15] come up, so the sovereign Lord will make [01:17] [music] righteousness and praise spring [01:19] up." Tubishvat teaches us that real [01:21] growth is often [music] hidden before it [01:23] becomes visible. Many in Israel feel [01:25] like this is a wilderness season [music] [01:27] marked by unanswered questions and a [01:29] future still unfolding. So together, [01:31] let's pray for endurance and faith for [01:33] [music] leaders, families, soldiers, and [01:36] communities, trusting that God is still [01:38] [music] at work beneath the surface, [01:41] even when progress feels slow. Third, [01:43] let's pray for fruitfulness and blessing [01:45] [music] from this land. Deuteronomy 8 [01:48] reminds us that God's promise is to [01:50] bring his people into a good land rich [01:52] [music] with provision. And today, [01:53] Israel's agricultural and environmental [01:55] innovations bless not only this nation, [01:57] [music] but countries around the world [01:59] facing water shortages, climate [02:01] challenges. Let's pray that Israel [02:04] continues to be a source [music] of [02:05] blessing and wise stewardship, and that [02:07] the fruit from this land reflects the [02:09] [music] faithfulness of the God who [02:11] planted his promises here. As believers, [02:14] Tubishvat reminds us that growth [music] [02:15] takes time, roots must go deep, and God [02:18] brings fruit in every season. Thank you [02:20] for standing with us in prayer.
