Armed suspects from Israel's Negev region entered Dahariya disguised as IDF soldiers in a vehicle with Israeli license plates. They stormed a jewelry shop and opened fire, stealing merchandise while residents attempted to intervene, forcing them to shoot at a Palestinian vehicle during their escape.

Israeli and Palestinian security forces launched coordinated pursuit operations to locate the fleeing vehicle. Police identified four Bedouin suspects from the Negev region who were dressed in military uniforms and armed with M16 rifles, eventually intercepting the vehicle and recovering the stolen jewelry.

Investigators confirmed the suspects were Israeli Bedouin citizens and linked them to a similar robbery occurring one year prior.
