They killed your children: IDF distributes a newspaper in Gaza attacking Hamas
Newspaper shows photo of the boy, Ahmad Baraka, who was shot by Hamas, and articles about the increase in humanitarian aid, sanctions on Sinwar and refutation of the claims of the military-wing spokesman
In Deir al-Balah in the center of the Gaza Strip, there was a report on Saturday about a newspaper that attacked Hamas that was distributed by the IDF.
This was the first issue of the "The Reality" newspaper, which includes three articles on the following topics: the sanctions imposed by the European Union on Yahya Sinwar, the increase in humanitarian aid, and the refutation of the claims of the spokesman for the Hamas military wing, Abu Obaida.
On the front page, an image can be seen of the child Ahmad Baraka who was shot by Hamas next to the caption, "They killed your children," and a photo of the destroyed al-Rashid Street under the headline: "They destroyed every good thing." This was in addition to the image of Hamas taking over the humanitarian aid, along with the caption: "They beat you and tortured you."
It was also written on the newspaper's front page: "They hurt your honor and left your families humiliated in the streets, while their majesties (Hamas leaders) hide and are protected in tunnels. They burned the people's money on tunnels and weapons." This was accompanied by a quote from senior Hamas official Musa Abu Marzouk that the tunnels were meant to protect Hamas fighters - while other people need to be careful.
On the back of the newspaper, the following words were written: "Are you still silent??? All this is just a drop in the ocean, wake up people!! Your future is in your hands." This was placed next to a cartoon of Palestinian citizens demonstrating with white flags to end the war, while Hamas is portrayed in a hospital bed in a tunnel underneath, with a doctor telling him: "Your time is running out."
The newspaper was distributed against the backdrop of a video that caused an uproar in which the cousin of Muhammad Abu Tabana, who was shot to death by Hamas operatives in the Gaza Strip, came out against the organization and called on the people to oppose the regime.
"He was just a child, we have evidence that he was mentally disabled," said Muhammad’s cousin in pain and turned to Hamas: "You think you are above the law. We know who the officer responsible for Muhammad’s arrest is. There is no law in the city, everyone has authority - now the authority is with us, we also have men."
