Senior Hamas official talks about world domination in resurfaced video

A Hamas video purporting world domination that was broadcast on MEMRI TV in December 2022 has resurfaced after the Hamas attack on Israel.

In the video, Mahmoud Al-Zahar, a senior Hamas operative, is seen talking about Hamas “liberating” not only “occupied land,” meaning Israel, but the entire world.

“Today, you could say that we reached a phase of deterrence, a phase in which we can defend the occupied land. When we speak about the Army of Jerusalem and the Battle of the Promise of the Hereafter, we are not talking about liberating our land alone – but we believe in what our Prophet Muhammad said: Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake, and I have seen its eastern and western ends. The dominion of my nation would reach those ends that have been drawn near me," Al-Zahar stated.

Al-Zahar goes on to declare that “Planet Earth” will come under a system – allegedly meaning Islam – where there will be “no Zionism” and “no Christianity.”

“The entire 510 million square kilometers of Planet Earth will come under [a system] where there is no injustice, no oppression, no Zionism, no treacherous Christianity and no killings and crimes like those being committed against the Palestinians, and against the Arabs in all the Arab countries, in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and other countries,” he said on the video.

The resurfaced video indicates rising concerns that Hamas or other Iran-affiliated terrorist groups could be planning terrorist attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets around the world.

Israel’s Mossad Intelligence agency warned Jews abroad to stay vigilant.

“To all Jews around the world, Hamas and other terrorist organizations from Gaza and elsewhere are currently sending rockets onto Israel. A few have infiltrated into Israel. There may be more attacks on Jews outside of Israel... be cautious. Stay safe! We are at war, and with godspeed we will prevail,” Mossad posted on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday.

On Sunday, Mossad reiterated its warning following the deadly shooting of Israeli tourists in Egypt.

“Israeli tourists killed in Egypt. We again ask for Jews around the world to be careful. This warning extends to western nations: > England > Canada (Toronto) > Germany > France > USA (NY. MI. FL.) Keep your cellphone handy and your eyes open,” the agency wrote on X.

On Sunday night, a kosher restaurant in the north London suburb of Golders Green was smashed and a nearby bridge was smeared with the words “Free Palestine.”

The United Kingdom, Germany and France reportedly reinforced security around synagogues, Jewish schools and other Jewish and Israeli institutions following the Hamas attack on Israel.

In New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul said that New York State and New York City police were also reinforcing security.

“In close communication with Jewish leaders, New York State Police, New York City Police Department & other local law enforcement are increasing presence around Jewish communities & Jewish houses of worship. While there are no threats at this time, we remain in contact with the FBI and other federal partners,” Hochul posted on X.
