Israeli singer Noa Kirel paid tribute on Saturday evening to her cousin Sgt. First Class (res.) Ori Yaish (27), who was murdered in Friday's terror attack at Re'em Junction.

"The tragic reality has also reached me and my family," Kirel wrote in a post she published this evening on her Instagram account.

"Sgt. First Class (res.) Ori Yaish, an Israeli hero who was murdered yesterday in the heinous attack, was my cousin," Kirel added.

"The sadness and heartbreak never stop, I am supporting the Yaish family. We will forever remember Ori! May his memory be blessed."

Yaish, from Modi'in, is the 573rd IDF soldier killed since the outbreak of the war.

At the end of Shabbat, the IDF announced that Yaish was the second person killed in the terror attack.

Yishai Gartner, 23, from Modi'in Illit, a student of Yeshiva Maor Hatalmud in Kiryat Malachi, was also murdered.

Four other people were injured in the attack, among them, a 16-year-old boy whose condition is described as critical and two in serious condition.

The terrorist, Fadi Jamjoum, 37, from East Jerusalem’s Shuafat, was killed by a member of Israel's Shin Bet security agency.
