A poll published today (Monday) on the Kan Reshet Bet program revealed that 56% of Israelis support a deal with Hamas that would return the hostages in one phase in exchange for a complete end to the war and the release of prisoners from Israeli jails.

Approximately 22% responded that they oppose such a deal. The poll was conducted by the Kantar Institute, headed by Dudi Hassid.

The poll also revealed that the Likud party, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, has gained one mandate compared to the previous poll conducted in early April. The National Unity party, led by Benny Gantz, and Yisrael Beytenu, led by Avigdor Liberman, have also gained seats.

The Yesh Atid party, led by Yair Lapid, and Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben Gvir, have weakened.
The Religious Zionism party, led by Bezalel Smotrich, did not pass the electoral threshold, receiving only 2.8% of the votes. Balad [Palestinian nationalist political party] also failed to pass the threshold, receiving 1.6% of the votes.

Seat Distribution:

  • Likud: 24 mandates (23 in the previous poll)

  • National Unity: 16 mandates (15 in the previous poll)

  • Yisrael Beytenu: 16 mandates (15 in the previous poll)
