Amar Abu Sabeila was murdered while rescuing two girls, aged three and six, during the Hamas massacre in Sderot. Their father had been killed before their eyes and instead of prioritizing his own safety, Amar chose to take his family and the girls, to what he believed was a secure place. The girls survived thanks to Amar, who was tragically murdered.
